Virgin Media TV has announced it will be launching a new entertainment channel, Virgin 1, on Freeview starting Monday 1 October 2007.
Virgin 1 will be packed full of a top drama, comedy and compelling factual programming including top US shows The Riches and The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Virgin 1 will replace the FTN channel currently on channel 20. If your digital box or TV does not retune automatically then you will need to retune on 1 October.
To manually retune you need to press "Menu" on your remote control and follow the on-screen instructions or those printed in your manual. A typical sequence is:
Press MENU on your remote control.
From the Menu options, select the 'Tuning Menu'
Select 'Auto Setup' or 'Update' to retune your digital box or TV
